Sedona’s Red Rock Wonderland is Safe, Clean and Ready

The wide open spaces are beckoning again. Maybe it’s the famed energy vortexes or the cathedrals of majestic red rock, but it may also be the mile after mile of open trails, the natural quiet, the endless vistas, the velvety night skies, or the mysterious ancient ruins that make the allure of Sedona stronger than ever.

When you consider embracing the spark of adventure that matches your refined sense of caution in these distressed times, consider the care our rural mountain community is taking to keep residents and visitors safe.

Local government, private businesses and nonprofits have joined the Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau to launch Sedona | Safe.Clean.Ready,  a community-wide embrace of CDC-inspired safety guidelines honored by hundreds of businesses - restaurants, jeep tours, art galleries, resorts and more - who have registered their commitment for all to see on SedonaSafeCleanReady.com. From  canyons to campgrounds, main streets to mountain peaks, we are implementing frequent and thorough handwashing, easy access to hand sanitizer, respiratory etiquette, employee masks, and proper training on sanitation and disposal. Many businesses have committed to new employee policies to conduct regular health checks and temperature screenings, and flexible employee hours. Hands-free payment options, disposable menus, individually packaged items, and no contact check-in and check-out are a few more examples of our dedication.

Just as important, Sedona | Safe.Clean.Ready enlists everyone - including you - in the cooperative effort to keep Sedona the safest, as well as the most beautiful, place on Earth. On the website and around red rock country, you will see eight reminders of how you can help - such as avoiding congregating in public places, wearing a mask when physical distancing is not possible, staying home if you are not feeling well, and observing physical distance guidelines.

Takeout, Delivery or Dine In

As you peruse Sedona’s culinary options - you can choose to enjoy your cowboy steak, soft shell crab tempura, Milanese fritto misto or any of our endless appetizers, entrees and aperitifs as a carefully-spaced and sanitized in-house experience, handy take out, or delivery to wherever you happen to be when hunger strikes. You can even include tasty local beer or wine in your delivery order.

Heal the Mind and the Body

Sedona’s spiritual and wellness community are a balm to the quarantined soul. A spiritual vacation in Sedona’s serene natural surroundings inspire peace and contemplation. Sedona’s vortexes are thought to be swirling centers of energy conducive to healing and revival. Many people feel inspired, recharged and uplifted after absorbing the soothing vibes of a Sedona. But, you don’t need to go to a vortex to feel Sedona’s energy - it’s all around you in Red Rock Country.  It’s ironic that the most beautiful place on earth is famous for what you can’t see.

Our weather makes yoga al fresco especially invigorating and calming, so hike up Little Horse Trail and lay down your yoga mat near the rock spire “Madonna and the Nuns,” or climb Thunder Mountain where you can flow through sun salutations or simply meditate surrounded by Nature’s creations.

Fresh mountain air and inspirational surroundings are the perfect setting for Sedona’s three-day YouTopia itinerary. Several SedonaSafeCleanReady.com spas have reopened, some with new, unique offerings inspired during self-quarantine, such as innovative 60-minute teletherapy spa sessions and virtual personal and couples retreats.
