Posse Grounds Park

Sedona's first park was once used as a staging ground for the Sheriff's Posse! Today, the park offers 10 covered and landscaped ramadas that can be reserved for parties and special events, or just used as a place to sit and enjoy lunch. Adjacent to the Ramada area is a large playground for children, and short walking trails with great red rock views. There is even a dog park nearby.

Tip: For a map of the park and trails, go to Posse Grounds Park Map.

Driving Directions: From the Visitor Center, 331 Forest Road, turn right on SR 89A for 1.8 miles; turn right at Posse Grounds Road for 0.5 miles to the park.

Amenities: Playground equipment, walking trails, bike skills park, skate park, EV charging stations and an entertainment pavilion. This is also the main area for the Sedona Shuttle Park 'n Ride, a free eco-friendly way to explore the trails and avoid the hassle of crowded parking areas. Visit: Sedonashuttle.com.
