Posse Grounds Park
Posse Grounds Park is the epicenter of local events and concerts held throughout the year.
Posse Grounds Park is the place where a majority of Sedona's events occur. Here you will find the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival, Spring Fling, Food Truck Festival, Octoberfest, Sedona Wine Fest, Red Dirt Concerts and Movies in the Park. The park is 79 acres and is Sedona's first park. In the past, this area was used as a staging ground for the Sheriff's Posse.
The facility has ten ramadas that can be reserved for parties and special events or just used as a place to sit and enjoy lunch. Adjacent to the Ramada area is a large playground for children. There are three large fields for baseball or softball, and courts for basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball and bocce ball.
Within the park, there is an outdoor performance venue, the Pavillion, also known as Barbara Antonsen Memorial Park. This beautiful facility has breathtaking 270-degree views and is a great place to sit and enjoy the views or listen to a concert during the warmer months.
The Red Dirt Concerts, usually held in May and September, are two hours long and may feature one or two acts. Check the calendar listing at visitsedona.com for concert dates and times.
At Posse Grounds Park, you will also find walking trails, a bike skills park, disc golf and a skate park. EV charging stations are also available in front of the Hub.
Sedona Shuttle Park ‘n Ride is nearby. The shuttle provides transportation to Sedona's popular trailheads, Cathedral Rock/Little Horse Trailheads and Dry Creek Vista/Mescal Trailheads. Shuttles run year-round, Thursday through Sunday. Check sedonashuttle.com for more info.
