Verde Valley Archaeology Center

The Verde Valley Archaeology Center, located in Camp Verde, Arizona, is the only organization in the Verde Valley region dedicated to the care, management, and use ('curation') of archaeological artifacts found throughout the Verde Valley region. The Center's vision is to be the foremost research and educational institution devoted to the preservation, interpretation, and celebration of archaeology of the Verde Valley by creating and sustaining an archaeological center and museum.

Tip:  Visit the Native American Heritage Trail and Garden from dawn to dusk.

Driving Directions:  From the Visitor Center, 331 Forest Road, turn right on 89A.  At the circle, take the 3rd exit to 179 for 15.0 miles to Interstate 17 south.  Take exit 289, Middle Verde Road; continue on Middle Verde Road and Montezuma Castle Highway 3.6 miles to the Center.
