The Yoga Nidra and Hatha Yoga classes rotate each Friday.
Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation while lying down. Through gentle verbal cues, you’ll be led into a state of deep relaxation that rests between waking and sleeping, where the body is completely still but the mind remains softly aware. Each session helps release physical tension, calm the nervous system, and quiet mental chatter. No experience or flexibility required.
We will provide you with a yoga mat and yoga blanket; you are welcome to bring your own blanket, pillow, or bolster.
Benefits include reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep, mental clarity, and a profound sense of restoration. One hour of Yoga Nidra is said to equal several hours of regular sleep. Register here.
Hatha Yoga: Is a foundational, slower-paced style of yoga that focuses on aligning the body and mind through physical poses (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. Generally slower and gentler than Vinyasa Flow or Power Flow yoga, making it ideal for beginners or those seeking a mindful, less intense practice.
