After celebrating America’s 250th anniversary in July, Verde Canyon Railroad is carrying the patriotic spirit into August by offering 50% off train tickets for U.S. military members and veterans as a heartfelt thank-you for their dedication, sacrifice, and service.
As an official Arizona America250 Passport site, Verde Canyon Railroad spent July joining destinations across the state in celebrating the people, places, and stories that helped shape America. Now, the Railroad is extending that celebration by recognizing the men and women who continue to uphold the freedoms at the heart of the American story.
Railroads have long played a defining role in America’s history, connecting communities, moving people and goods, and helping build the nation. At Verde Canyon Railroad, that legacy is experienced from the rails on a four-hour journey through one of Arizona’s most breathtaking wilderness corridors.
The August military appreciation offer applies to morning and midday train rides.
