Love Delicious Food? Think cocktail party combined with farmers' market.

Join us for a fun-filled evening of amazing food, deserts, wine and brews from signature chefs, local farmers, and aspiring chefs of the Sedona Culinary Institute for our very first Farm to Table Community Social.

We want to support our local farmers and chefs that utilize some of the freshest vegetables, fruits, meats, honey, and micro greens to deliver delicious dishes grown right here in Verde Valley. We have invited five of our largest farms to this event, and have invited five incredible local chefs, as well as a local brewery and winery that truly believe in a Farm to Table sustainable future for our farms and farmers. .

Over the several months of planning this event, we have had the opportunity to meet with amazing people who work on these local farms in order to understand the advantages of using their products, and have learned a great deal about how their produce is grown, the vast varieties available right in our own back yard, and some of their struggles and successes in raising their crops. We’ve learned how cattle are raised and even about beekeeping.  At this event, guests will have the opportunity to taste some great creations our local chefs will create from local farm products.  We have invited the Sedona Culinary Institute to highlight some of their newest talent to exchange ideas with our local chefs in order to offer a pathway to career opportunities to their graduates finishing culinary school. We certainly want to keep local talent from leaving the area to pursue job opportunities in other cities, such as Phoenix or Flagstaff.

This social event was created to make new friends, network, and to have a great time as we celebrate the spectacular month of October which all locals know is one of the best months of the year for an outdoor party!

The proceeds will help the Sedona Culinary Institute Program and the Sedona Food Bank. Chef Robert Barr and Chef Ernst Springhorn have an amazing culinary program at Yavapai College - a 16 week hands-on certificate program. Once completed, these students will need somewhere to go and of course our goal is to keep that talent here in town! This event will allow them to create relationships with chefs in the area with whom they can complete their internship and perfect the skills needed to begin their career.

Staff and volunteers of the Sedona Food Bank work tirelessly to ensure that those in need are provided with food to put on their table. They offer their food pantry with a wide variety of selections morning and evening each Wednesday. They also have a “Homebound program” (monthly box delivery for residents who are homebound due to health or age related challenges) and the “Weekend Emergency Food Pack Program” (a pack containing enough food to feed a child over the weekend until they return to school on Monday which is delivered to local Sedona Schools for qualifying students). We want to be a part of the mission to end hunger and want to show our appreciation for everything that Sedona Food Bank does for our community!

Join us October 18th from 5pm-8pm at the Courtyard by Marriott Sedona on the North and South Ramadas and the View Deck for a fun-filled evening of amazing food, deserts, wine and brews from signature chefs, local farmers, and aspiring chefs of the Sedona Culinary Institute.
