If there’s one chef who has mastered the combination of outstanding food paired with unforgettable views, it’s Chef Mercer Mohr. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Chef Mohr brings his experience as an Executive Chef for the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts to the heart of Sedona, Arizona. The renowned chef is the owner of Mercer’s Kitchen, a collection of four award-winning restaurants that offer unparalleled culinary delights in the heart of Sedona.

René at Tlaquepaque

René crafts its menus with locally sourced ingredients to capture traditional Mediterranean flavors from France, Italy, Spain, and Morocco. Known as Arizona’s most romantic restaurant, René combines sophisticated dishes with an artistic ambiance that exemplifies the elegance of French Mediterranean cuisine. 

Whether by reservation or walk-in, guests can enjoy some of Chef Mohr’s most palatable dishes including appetizers such as Pate Maison or Spanish Garlic Shrimp. Steak lovers can choose from a selection of Les Steak Frites that pairs duck-fat fries or whipped Boursin potato with Prime Ribeye, Porterhouse, or Petite Filet steaks. Guests can also explore the two Chef’s Choice options, which include a seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras with citrus glazed pork belly and port wine reduction as well as a Caviar Service made from the exquisite Osetra Caviar.

Rascal Modern American Diner & Bar

Rascal Modern Diner is Chef Mohr’s unique take on the classic American diner, offering modern American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday night in the lounge area, sharing drinks and sampling the delicious cuisine curated by Chef Mohr.

 

Dishes like the Rascal Eggs Benedict feature the chef’s unique twist on the classic breakfast staple, while the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are the perfect treat for diners looking to satiate their sweet tooth. Rascal features lunch dishes that range from the light and flavorful Summer Salmon Salad to the decadent BBQ Pork Ribs. Dinnertime visitors will find a brilliant mesh of classic diner food presented with all the trappings of fine dining, from favorites like the San Francisco Style Shrimp & Grits to the Tacos Al Pastor with Achiote Marinated Pork Shoulder.

Creekside American Bistro

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Creekside American Bistro has something for everyone. Chef Mohr isn’t afraid to switch things up with menus that change with the seasons, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients to create High Country comfort food.  Guests can begin their days with Ms. Emily’s Flakey Warm Croissants or Breakfast Tacos featuring Chef’s homemade chorizo sausage. For brunch and lunch, Creekside dabbles in all kinds of American comfort food, from the Ramen Noodle Bowl with pork belly and shrimp to the Lamb Chop Lollipops with chili-spiced grilled watermelon, blueberries, feta cheese, and fresh mint.

Dinnertime at Creekside captures the essence of Sedona’s Southwest spirit, as guests nibble on Maryland Blue Crab Cakes and share a plate of Ahi Tuna Nachos with spiced wonton chips. Main courses include Build-Your-Own-Burgers and High Country Shrimp & Grits with crispy pork belly hot from the pan.

From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. every day at the bar and front patio, dive into Chef Mercer’s $5 Shrimp Tacos, perfectly paired with our $6 House Infusion Cocktails. Sip on a refreshing Blueberry Vodka Collins, a tangy Prickly Pear Margarita, or our signature Stoli Doli while enjoying Sedona.

Mesa Grill Sedona

 

The fourth and final restaurant in Chef Mercer’s Kitchen is Mesa Grill Sedona, a Southwestern Grill that serves all-American meals paired with the views of the Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout.  Sunrise favorites include the Chef’s Ancient Grains Breakfast Bowl, a unique combination of chicken-chorizo, dried cherries, two eggs, avocado, and a splash of dairy.  Guests in the mood for a morning cocktail can enjoy orange, peach, or cranberry Mimosas or a Mesa Bloody Mary with their meal.

After 11 a.m. on weekdays, the menu shifts to lunchtime offerings including Chef’s signature Tableside Guacamole, a delightful combination of cotija cheese and Sweetie Drop peppers served with fresh-made, warm corn tortilla chips.  When the sun goes down, the menu shifts to include heartier fare such as the Crispy Skin Red Trout and the Mesa Grill Famous Fried Chicken.
