Yappy Hour

The City of Sedona Parks and Recreation department is excited to host a weekly social hour for man and its best friend! Come join us for Yappy Hour on the cool grass on the Multiuse Field at Posse Grounds Park for friendly dogs and their owners. This weekly event will be hosted every Thursday from 8am to 9am starting the 23rd of July to October 29th. ‘Harry & Snowman’ Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to continue its festival documentary series with the one-night-only screenings of “Harry & Snowman”, a moving and inspiring new documentary. The film will show Thursday, July 30 at 4 and 7 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. “Harry & Snowman” is a feature length documentary that tells the remarkable life story of international show jumping legend Harry deLeyer, whose career was launched by his famous show jumping horse Snowman.

Sedona Hummingbird Festival

International Hummingbird Society presents the annual celebration of hummingbirds. The event is three days of engaging presentations by nationally recognized hummingbird experts in the fields of science, gardening, rehabilitation, banding, storytelling, and more. Festival highlights include Sunrise Hummingbird Breakfasts at known ‘hummingbird hotspots,’ hummingbird garden tours, hummingbird banding demonstrations, and a marketplace for nature/hummingbird-themed merchandise.
