Members Summer Co-Op Exhibition

Member artists participate in the Members’ Summer Co-op Exhibition, a non-juried art sales opportunity to showcase and sell artwork from Friday, August 5 through August 29 at the Arts Center. Sedona Arts Center is making the Art Barn available for the Summer Co-op to be managed by the artists for the artists. This is a fine opportunity for every artist member to show and sell their work. An Opening Reception free to the public will take place on First Friday, August 5 from 5 to 8 pm.

August Sedona Chamber Networking Mixer

Held the 4th Thursday of most months from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Each mixer is held at a different venue to showcase that member’s facilities/services. Each mixer attracts between 125 – 200 attendees. Dates and locations posted here and details announced throughout the year via Chamber e-Newsletters. Cost is $10.00 per member and $15.00 for non-members. No RSVP is required.

‘Play: The Documentary’ Film Premiere

Sedona International Film Festival joins in the movement to help keep music in schools with special screenings of “Play: The Documentary” on Thursday Aug. 25. Showtimes will be 4 and 7 p.m. at the festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre. There will be a Q&A at both shows with filmmakers Matty Steinkamp and Tracy Perkins and local musician Brandon Decker. The film was created in hopes of inspiring more people to play music. The documentary was shot in locations all over the United States.
