Sedona Arts Center September Gallery Exhibition

The September Exhibition starts off with our First Friday Reception, Sept 2nd, 5-7pm at Sedona Arts Center Gallery. The five featured artists for the Arts Center’s September exhibition have created work that is festive, vibrant, fun and evokes the freedom of a creative journey. Gallery goers will find works in watercolor, encaustics, pastels, metals,and more. The show can be seen daily thereafter until Oct 4th, 10am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

‘Embrace’ Film Premiere

“Embrace” — an award-winning documentary that teaches women to love their bodies —showing Sept. 23-28 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. Women take a stand against bikini bodies, six-packs and perfection and set out on a mission for global change to help women love their bodies in the powerful documentary “Embrace”. “Embrace” follows Taryn’s crusade as she explores the global issue of body loathing, inspiring us to change the way we feel about ourselves and think about our bodies.

Manhattan Short Film Festival

Filmgoers in Sedona will unite with audiences in over 250 cities spanning six continents to view and judge the work of the next generation of filmmakers from around the world when the 19th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival screens at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre, Sept. 23-28, hosted by the Sedona International Film Festival. This year, Manhattan Short received a record 844 short film entries from 52 countries — a testimony to the enduring vibrancy and creativity of the short film genre.

2016 Row by Row Experience

It’s like a shop hop, but it’s not. No fees, no cards to stamp and all summer to play! This event includes all 50 states, Canada and Europe too! Daily Guided Nature Walk

Every morning a volunteer naturalist leads a guided nature walk informing visitors about the different life zones of Red Rock State Park and sharing their knowledge of geology, wildlife, park history, archaeology, and plant life. The naturalists welcome questions during the walk. Hikes are included with park entrance fees. No reservations required.
