Thunder Mountain Trailhead

Tip: The Native Americans named it Thunder Mountain because it is struck by lightning up to 4,000 times a year.
Driving Directions: From the Visitor Center, 331 Forest Road, turn left on 89A for 3.2 miles. Turn right on Dry Creek Road for 0.5 miles to Thunder Mountain Road, continue 0.6 miles to the trailhead parking lot.
Amenities: Beautiful red rock views, lesser used trail.
