We're excited to spread the word about your event! Please carefully review the event submission criteria prior to submitting to the calendar.

Visit Sedona Event Calendar Criteria 

Eligibility

• You must be a Greater Sedona Chamber of Commerce member to promote events on SedonaChamber.com and/or VisitSedona.com. You can learn more about membership HERE.
• Promote membership or higher is required for listings on VisitSedona.com.
• Connect members may submit events to SedonaChamber.com only

What Qualifies as an Event
An event is a distinct, public-facing happening that occurs at a specific place and time (or defined date range) and is time-bound and unique or special in nature

Events may include (but are not limited to):

• Ticketed performances or concerts
• ​Festivals, markets, fairs, and community celebrations
• Special workshops, lectures, panels, or limited-run experiences
• One-time or seasonal wellness events (e.g., retreats, special ceremonies, guest-led experiences)

What Does Not Qualify - The calendar may not be used for:

• Products, services, or experiences that are offered normally or on an ongoing basis
• Daily, weekly, or standing sessions (e.g., daily meditations, ongoing yoga classes, drop-in sessions). If your offering runs continuously or requires certain attendance to take place, it is likely better suited for a business listing rather than the events calendar.
• Appointments, private sessions, or availability-based offerings
• Promotions, discounts, sales, or special offers

Note: Repeating events may be allowed at Chamber discretion if they are:

• Are experientially unique and destination-relevant
• Are clearly distinct from routine classes, experiences and services
• Are clearly not a session and happen regardless of registration or attendance

Location Requirements

• Events must take place within the Sedona–Verde Valley region.

Submission Guidelines

• Event descriptions are limited to 500 characters, including spaces.
• Members may submit up to two (2) events per week. Grow-level members and above receive additional calendar allotments based on their membership tier.

The Chamber reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove listings that do not meet calendar criteria or align with destination-level standards.

Each submission is reviewed by Chamber staff Monday through Thursday. When approved, event posting will be live within 48 hours. We will notify you if the submission does not meet event criteria. Please keep a copy of your submission information since it will not be saved in the online system.
