Outdoor Film: ‘One Crazy Summer’

Date: Monday, July 27 2026

Outdoor films are coming to the Village! The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with the Village of Oak Creek Association to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience on Mondays throughout the summer. Join us on Monday, July 27, when we present “One Crazy Summer” outdoors at the Village of Oak Creek Association Park, next to the clubhouse. In “One Crazy Summer” (1986), Hoops McCann (John Cusack) is an aspiring teenage artist who needs to create a cartoon love story to get into art school. To find inspiration, he travels to Nantucket with his friends. They quickly team up to help a local singer (Demi Moore) save her grandfather’s house from greedy developers. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from the festival’s “Movies on the Move” mobile concession stand. “One Crazy Summer” will be shown outdoors at the VOC Association Park (690 Bell Rock Boulevard in the Village of Oak Creek) on Monday, July 27 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7:00 p.m. Parking is free and available onsite. Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge. For advance tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Visit the film festival office at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A in West Sedona to get tickets in person.
