On select Friday evenings during the summer months, Moonlight Tours offer a very unique perspective of the Verde Canyon…under the moon’s glow! Scheduled closest to the full moon, these popular seasonal night trips depart at 5:30pm and travel the train's scenic route via daylight. sunset, twilight and moon rise.  The red rock canyon walls come alive bathed in the brightness of the full moon’s glow, illuminating the Verde Canyon in otherworldly fashion. Crepuscular canyon creatures are more active during the sunset and twilight hours.
