Beethoven Bonanza with Joseph Vaz, Piano
Date:
Sunday, March 7 2027
Da-da-da-DAAAH.
You know the opening. Now experience it live.
In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s death, the Sedona Symphony presents an all-Beethoven spectacular featuring the iconic Fifth Symphony—music that still electrifies audiences more than 200 years later.
The program also includes Beethoven’s deeply poetic “Fourth Piano Concerto,” performed by rising piano star Joseph Vaz, and the dramatic Coriolan Overture, full of tension, fire, and intensity.
If you only attend one classical concert this season, this might be the one.
Born in Faro, Portugal, pianist Joseph Vaz has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician across North America and Europe, appearing in venues from Carnegie Hall to Vienna's Arnold Schönberg Center. He currently serves as the 2025–2027 piano fellow for Carnegie Hall's prestigious Ensemble Connect program.
