This lithics class is instructed by John Rose, VVAC Archaeologist, and will take you on a journey discussing stone tools and debitage, and how these materials make up much of the archaeological record. This talk will provide an overview of how archaeologists create a better understanding of past behavior through lithic analysis. The talk concludes with an opportunity for participants to examine a variety of stone tools and debitage.
