Special Event: Celebrating the Parks of the American West with Artists Q&A Discussion
Date:
Friday, April 3 2026
Celebrate 1st Friday, April 3rd, 4-7pm with Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in the Village of Tlaquepaque as they welcome a group of award-winning artists who are active visitors to the unique parks and monuments of the American West, as each artist presents their remarkable landscape paintings created for this event. Inspired by the grandeur and wonder that made these parks and monuments into national treasures, participating artists include Arizona artists Lydia Gatzow, Linda Glover Gooch, Marcia Molnar, and Anton Nowels; Utah artist Richard Boyer; and Colorado artist Susie Hyer, who have all captured their 'love of place' in their paintings that will be the highlight of the show. Also, during the 4-7pm reception, the gallery will host a dynamic Artist Q&A Discussion featuring these talented creatives, who will speak about their inspiration for their painting, along with Julie R. Williams, moderator for the event. The public is invited, and visitors are encouraged to participate in the conversation. Parks & monuments include Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Glacier National Park, Natural Bridges National Monument, Grand Canyon National Park, Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Zion National Park, and more!
