The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Raising the Bar: The Story of Alma Richards” showing Aug. 29-Sept.4 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.
“Raising the Bar: The Story of Alma Richards” tells the inspiring, true, David vs. Goliath story of an Olympic hero from the tiny town of Parowan, Utah.
Alma's athletic talents were nurtured in the countryside, where he spent his days chasing jackrabbits and leaping over fences for fun.
