Outdoor Film: ‘Pretty Woman’
Date:
Wednesday, June 10 2026
The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with The Wilde Resort in West Sedona to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience — “Wilde Wednesdays” Cinema Under the Stars — every Wednesday in the summer season! This is the summer of romantic comedies at The Wilde! Join us on Wednesday, June 10 as we present “Pretty Woman” in The Grove Fire Pit Garden at The Wilde Resort and Spa. “Pretty Woman” — directed by Garry Marshall — stars Richard Gere, Julia Roberts (who earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for this performance) and Jason Alexander. A prostitute and a wealthy businessman fall for one another, forming an unlikely pair in the 1990 romantic comedy. While on a business trip in Los Angeles, Edward (Richard Gere), who makes a living buying and breaking up companies, picks up a prostitute, Vivian (Julia Roberts), on a lark. After Edward hires Vivian to stay with him for the weekend, the two get closer, only to discover there are significant hurdles to overcome as they try to bridge the gap between their very different worlds. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from The Wilde Resort and fun movie concessions. “Pretty Woman” will be shown outdoors at The Wilde Resort and Spa (2250 W. State Route 89A in West Sedona) on Wednesday, June 10 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Parking is free and available at The Wilde Resort and Spa. Tickets are only $10 each, and kids 12 and under are free of charge. For advance tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Visit the film festival office at 2030 W.
