Oak Creek Canyon History Tour

Did you know there used to be a skating rink and gas station at Indian Gardens? Learn this and other fascinating facts on our popular spring tour of historic sites in Oak Creek Canyon. This guided and fully narrated tour will visit Bear Howard and Purtymun cabins, Pendley homestead at what is now Slide Rock State Park, Purtymun’s Cave Springs kitchen, the Schnur house (Sedona's first doctor), and many other historic sites. Tours are from 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. Please arrive at 1:45 p.m. Tickets are $75 for Sedona Heritage Museum members and $85 for non-members. Space is limited on small touring vans with climate control and large panoramic windows.
