The colorful Anton Nowels Artist Demo starts at 11am at Mountain Trails Gallery in Tlaquepaque as the gallery is honored to host the event by this master painter and teach.er Anton is a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society and an Associate Member of the Oil Painters of America, as well as being a Juried Member of Arizona Plein Air Painters. He is also a popular workshop instructor at the prestigious Scottsdale Artists' School as well as a Signature Member of the Plein Air Painters of America. Anton is currently a part of “Celebrating the Parks of the American West” at Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona with his 48 x 60 oil ‘Morning, Canyon de Chelly’ and his 24 x 24 acrylic ‘Cattle at Sunset, Monument Valley’ and will be a part of the upcoming Thunderbird Foundation’s PAPA show at the Maynard Dixon Legacy Museum in Utah. With so many awards and accolades to his credit, Anton Nowels considers teaching a major part of his process, having taught on a regional, a national as well as an international level, including workshops in Arizona, Utah, Tennessee, in the Netherlands and more. It has been said of his workshop at Sedona Arts Center that, "Anton was awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable and conveyed the concepts in a fun and understandable manner! --CN" The event promises to be a learning opportunity as well as a delightful day filled with unique creative moments.
