In the Living Room Music Series: Jill Trenholm
Date:
Monday, January 26 2026
After a successful, high-energy launch earlier this month, award-winning composer Shondra Jepperson is keeping the momentum moving with the second installment of the “In the Living Room Music Series.” On Monday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 p.m., the series continues its residency at the Sedona International Film Festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre, featuring Jill Trenholm. Trenholm is a singer-songwriter whose heartfelt acoustic performances weave storytelling and song into a seamless experience. Known for her engaging style, Jill has opened for Michael McDonald at the Maryhill Amphitheater and performed everywhere from intimate house concerts to the House of Blues in Vegas. Jill, largely known in Sedona as the protege of world-renowned and Sedona’s beloved sculptor John Soderberg, said, “I’m honored to be part of this music series, stepping back into my musical roots, sharing my songs and stories with the Sedona community.” Her Jan. 26 concert will continue the tradition of intimacy and excellence that the series is known for. The concert series is an “Actor’s Studio gone music" format offering a rare, personal, inside look at the heart and soul of the artist behind their music. As moderator, Shondra leads an interactive conversation, inviting the audience to ask questions throughout the performance to uncover the craft and stories behind the music. Executive Director Patrick Schweiss reflected on the series' debut: “The energy in the theatre for the kick-off was absolutely electric. Shondra has hit on something special here — our audience loved being part of the conversation rather than just sitting in the dark. It’s quickly becoming the 'don't-miss' Monday night at Mary Fisher Theatre.” Thanks to sponsors, Cleaner Quicker Car Wash and Sefton Engineering, all ticket sales go directly to supporting the featured artist and SIFF. In the Living Room Music Series featuring Jill Trenholm will take the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Monday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available in advance at the Sedona International Film Festival office or by calling 928-282-1177 or online at www.SedonaFilmFestiva.org. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona.
