Arcosanti Announces Two Clay Pit-Firing Weekend Workshops APRIL 20-21 and MAY 18-19

Arcosanti is pleased to announce two clay pit-firing weekend workshops this spring. The first workshop will take place Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21. The second runs from Saturday, May 18 to Sunday, May 19. Each two-day workshop allows participants to learn an ancient form of firing pottery that uses natural materials and requires no gas or electricity.



Timeline is as follows for both workshops:



Day One: Saturday –

10 a.m. Decorate vessels and learn about burnishing
