Ridge Trail

A steep climb on this moderate trail culminates in a transcendent view into Red Rock Crossing and back towards Thunder Mountain.  

Distance: 4 miles round trip

Tip: Advanced riders may cross the shallow portion of Oak Creek to access trails behind Cathedral Rock.

Driving Directions: From the Visitor Center, 331 Forest Road, turn right on SR 89A for 4.2 miles. Turn left on Upper Red Rock Loop Road for 1.8 miles. Turn left on Chavez Ranch Road for 0.2 miles to the parking on the left.
