‘Rebuilding’ Film Premiere

This event has already finished but is here for your information

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Rebuilding” showing Jan. 16-22 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre. A gently humanist story of the American West from Max Walker-Silverman, “Rebuilding” follows Dusty (Josh O’Connor), a reserved, divorced father whose ranch has burned down in a devastating wildfire. Now living in a trailer community on a government-run campsite, Dusty finds solace with his new neighbors who have also lost everything, quietly reassembles his life, and starts reconnecting with his ex-wife Ruby (Meghann Fahy) and young daughter Callie-Rose (Lily LaTorre). Filmed against the rapturous backdrop of southern Colorado, “Rebuilding” is a ruminative, moving portrait of resilience and human connection in the wake of loss. “The movie people need right now.” — IndieWire “Gives us faith and hope for the human race.” — Deadline “Josh O’Connor is magnetic in a portrait of resilience.” — Slant “Rebuilding” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre Jan. 16-22. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday and Thursday, Jan. 16, 17 and 22 at 3:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 18, 19 and 20 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members.
